Activity Feed
The Activity Feed is a real-time log of all email conversations between your office and constituents. It gives you a single, chronological view of incoming and outgoing emails, whether they’re simple replies to opinions or messages tied to an active case.
This makes it easy to track communication history, understand context, and jump directly to the right constituent or case when needed.
What appears in the Activity Feed
Each entry in the Activity Feed represents an email interactions and includes:
-
Sender → Recipient
Shows who sent the email and who received it -
Subject line
The email subject, displayed exactly as it appeared in the inbox. -
Timestamp
When the email was sent or received -
Case association (if applicable)
If the email is linked to a case, you'll see a case reference (ex: Case-1). Emails without a case are still shown in the feed.
Emails with and without cases
Not every email requires a case and that's okay.
-
Emails without a case
These are often general responses, opinions, or informational messages. They’ll appear in the Activity Feed without a case reference. -
Emails associated with a case
When an email is tied to a case, the case reference appears directly in the feed. Selecting it lets you quickly understand how the email fits into the broader issue being tracked.
Viewing Email Details
Click Email Details to open the full email record. This view shows:
-
Full sender and recipient information
-
A system-generated summary of the email traffic to-date
-
The complete email body and reply chain
This is especially useful for reviewing longer conversations or confirming exactly what was communicated.
Navigating to a constituent's profile
The constituent’s name in the Activity Feed is clickable. Selecting it takes you directly to that person’s People profile, where you can:
-
View their contact information
-
See related cases
- Review prior email and engagement history
This makes it easy to move from a single email to the full relationship history with that constituent.
