About Email Footers

The email footer is a content section located at the end of an email that typically contains information about you, the sender, and links for recipients to unsubscribe or forward the email. All templates include a footer with default content from your audience details.
In this article, you'll learn about the types of content we include in your email footer and what you can customize.
Required footer content
Anti-spam laws and our Terms of Use require our users to include certain information in every email you send. Parthenon is set up to make this a simple process by automatically including the following required content in the email footer for you.
The {Unsubscribe_Link} merge tag
The {Unsubscribe_Link} merge tag generates a link to your Parthenon-hosted unsubscribe form where subscribed contacts can opt out of your emails. This is to your benefit to keep your audience clean and your reputation intact.
Your Physical Address
The address included in the footer must be an address where you can receive mail (i.e. not an email address or website). Your account defaults to the address you provided when you signed up for your account.
